O livro de Daniel: literatura de resistência?

Desde o aparecimento do livro de Daniel nas Escrituras Hebraicas, suas narrativas e visões apocalípticas alcançaram grande popularidade e muita controvérsia. Os intérpretes do livro já encontraram um pastiche de gêneros e pontos de vista sociológicos
e ideológicos, afora as questões de autoria, datação e marco social. Além disso, existe a questão linguística, que também não ajuda a discernir uma estratégia hermenêutica tão coerente. Neste artigo, o objetivo é analisar o texto de Daniel como possível literatura de resistência, gênero comum no Período Helenístico, época considerada como sendo a da redação do livro em sua forma final.
