Abstract

Psalm 38 describes a drama of a faithful Jew. He shared his problems in a family celebration. His main complaint is about his physical illness. Also, he spoke that he is missing his friends, and about his own sins. The hard physical limitations hinder him from achieving happiness. However, he trusted in God. The suffering of the complainer offers a good opportunity to exercise pastoral care.
