Closed hearts only see demons (Mk 3,22-30)
Keywords:
Jesus, scribes, authority, power, evil, demons, Kindom of GodAbstract
Jesus is presented by Mark’s Gospel like someone with power and upper authority than evil’s force. However the passage of Mk 3:22-30 presents an energetic rejection from some scribes. Accusing Jesus to be under the power of evil and to do things in the name of the prince of demons, they organized a powerful campaign to dissolve his charismatic, thaumaturgy and doctrinal popularity. This article is a short analysis about Jesus’ power and authority acknowledged by the crowds and transmitted until his disciples; also of motivations and reasons of the scribes trying to destroy the figure of man who lived only to do good things; and more, of the inevitable consequences that the hardness of heart brings to everyone who become calumniator of the man present by Mark as the Christ, the son of God.
