Creation, migration, and injustice: an ecotheological and literary essay of Sl 42–43

An artistic text presupposes the presence of a vast literary load. For this, a synchronic and, therefore, relational reading is necessary. A good hermeneutic exercise must consider what is in the textual canon. In this case, (Ps 42-43) constitutes with its three stanzas (1st vv. 2a-5f / 2nd vv. 7a-11d / 3rd 1a-4d) a unique lyric poem that was artistically prepared and testament. Furthermore, there is a hermeneutical triad imprinted on it: Creation (vv. 2a-5f); Migration (vv. 7a-11d) and Injustice (vv. 1a-4d). For the poet, when singing or praying, sometimes imagines the elements created by the Lord, and which are responsible for human survival, sometimes contemplates geographic spaces. Yes, his song is one of lamentation, yet his hope has a name: “God” “אלוהים”.
