This article proposes a theological analysis of the text of Ezekiel 34,1-10 from the point of view the victims. There, God Himself decides to take the place left by the shepherds/kings and put a definitive end to the pain of exile. Yhwh, the true good shepherd, interested and concerned about the flock, will be able to make the flock live in peace and well-being. If the strength of God was noted in the Deuteronomist Story by the ark going to the front of the battles to ensure victory, Ezekiel 34,1-10 shows him going before the sheep, like a protective shield. Injustice touches the heart of God and dresses him as a judge to make justice reign over the people. The message sounds good to the exiles: even in a foreign land and amid rumors of Yahwh's abandonment, they continue to be called by God “my sheep”. For this, he will raise up an authority that can eliminate the exploitation and oppression of the people by a privileged class. This political authority must place itself at the service of the people, thus announcing a new era of peace and prosperity for the weak and impoverished people.
