Abstract

Jewish traditions experienced the abominable and perverse, differently depending on the type of Judaism they represented. In Jewish and Christian apocalyptic groups, a variation of the abominable and perversity occurs due to the end of Judaism resulting from the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem. The end of the Temple in Jerusalem expresses a crisis about the pure and abominable place on which Jewish identity is built. These reflections discuss the crisis of Judaism and Christianity through the question of place, ascetic practices, and the vision of man in 4Ezra 13,1-32. As we will see, multiple issues such as the use of texts, practices and beliefs are common to various groups. Therefore, we will discuss the question of place, understood as the way of being and understanding the world, the ascetic and esoteric practices common among groups represented by the book of Daniel, the Parables of Enoch, synoptic traditions, 4Ezra and the Syriac Apocalypse of Baruch. Postulating that the end of Second Temple Judaism, he postulates a new topology, ascetic practices, esotericisms, and common visions that were developed by a type of secular Judaism that assumed practices inherited from heterodox Jewish traditions and that expected the messianic kingdom with earthly, mystical characteristics. and national
